Social Media Reboot Pt. 2 — Customizing Your Twitter Page

 

Are you still sportin’ the default Twitter clouds-and-eggs combo for your Twitter profile?

If so, you’re missing out on a powerful and simple branding opportunity, as well as a way to visually scoop up more followers. The video below explains how to fix that.

Before you get started, here’s what you’ll need:

A functioning Twitter profile

an appropriate image for your profile icon, or avatar (preferably some square dimension around 130×130 pixels or larger (but less than 700k image size)

(Optional) — a simple, and relatively large background image (2560 x 1600 px), or “theme”; if you don’t have one, there is a wide selection you can choose from within Twitter and online, they just won’t be original
